The Ski School

The only ski school based on CairnGorm Mountain at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Our partnership with Cairngorm Mountain means we can provide a one stop shop for lift passes, equipment hire and instruction. We are ideally located to deal with all of your requirements, and we work closely with the ski hire to offer professional and competitively priced lessons and packages to suit all ages and abilities

We can provide something for everyone. Whether you are 5 or 65, a total beginner or have been skiing for years, our friendly and professional instructors will ensure that you have a truly memorable time on CairnGorm Mountain. Our instructors are carefully selected for their patience and teaching skills, but also for their passion for the sport, and their desire to pass this on to others!

Just 7 miles from Aviemore, Loch Insh Watersports Centre is open all year, with watersports available between April and October. With 14 acres of forested land and 700 acres of beautiful Highland Loch to enjoy, there is a range of activities for everyone including: sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, fishing, rowing, biking, archery, rafting and walking.

Visitors are able to be part of an exciting sled-dog ride (12 dogs) and enjoy seeing the scenery and wildlife around the centre. The centre offer tours where visitors meet all 29 dogs, meet the "musher", who talks about the history and training, watch a short video and look around the small museum.
